To aid in this transition, when hovering over a fixed panel entry, the section numbers will appear as a hint. The links at the top of the content pane also provide hints!</p>

<p>In the <em>standalone html version only</em>, while in the <em>table of contents</em> mode, the <em>fixed panel</em> shows the first level section titles in <strong>bold</strong> and one level below, however the <em>content pane</em> displays a complete listing of each section. If the number of fixed panel menu entries exceeds it's boundaries, a scroll bar is automatically added.  The content and menu panes scroll independent of each other, simply <em>hover</em> over either pane (or grab the scroll bar) to shift focus. In the <em>page content</em> mode, the fixed panel listing is complete, and as previously mentioned, section numbering appears in the content headings.</p>
