Elasticity started out as a POV-Ray utility used to apply complex deformations to simple meshes. Since then, it has grown up a bit, and now encompasses other 3d formats including trueSpace and SoftF/X. Additionally, DXF support provides extra flexibility in working with other modellers and render engines.
