Was just testing to see if I could write info on my home computer, then export(copy/paste) to the wiki. I don't like editing in the Mediawiki window. The export is flawed with single quotation marks.

OpenOffice is now v3.2 but does not come with the Mediawiki export, it's been moved to an extension, but not released yet?
 
 
 
Is there other free to use programs for creating new Mediawiki content, while not connected to the internet?
 
 
 
I don't mind the built-in editor, but have used <em>simple</em> ed's like notepad on doze and gedit on linux before. word, wordpad like ed's seem to throw in a lot of extra cr/lf pairs and the occasional odd non printable character like I see above  --[[User:Jholsenback|jholsenback]] 11:35, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
