Should wiki cleanup simply delete content or replace with short sentence of why something was deleted?

That brings up an issue. I've just emailed Chris about the need to come up with a unified approach to dealing with the spam issue. I'm looking at this article about fighting spam for some guidance. --ash 13:15, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

I think this issue (unified approach) would be good on it's own page , linked from About POV-Wiki?

Most wikis use a similar policy, which is to make a post on the discussion (talk) page of the page/content you want to delete. If no-one in the community disagrees within several days then it's okay to go ahead and delete the page/content. Eddie 14:20, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
